The Box of Rock pedal is designed to emulate the classic JTM45 tone. It offers great headroom and allows you to control the distortion level directly from the guitar's volume knob. The pedal also includes a separate boost stage based on the Super Hard On circuit.

 

BOX OF ROCK FOR 1590B

For a more compact build, check out the Box of Rock for 1590B enclosure. This project simplifies the original circuit by removing the boost stage, fitting into a 1590B enclosure with three control knobs.
