Big Muff Fuzz SMD
Build a custom fuzz pedal with this PCB based on the classic Big Muff circuit. It features a footprint for six DIP switches, giving you control over clipping and tone. Final assembly simply requires mounting the potentiometers and switches.Steps

DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
Use a DIP switch for versatility, or wire jumpers to create a fixed configuration. With the switch in the "ON" position, the circuit is closed (shorted), which is the same as creating a permanent connection with a wire jumper.
S1: Frist clipping stage
S1 ON: more compressed sound. Original setting.
S1 OFF: diodes bypassed. It lets more signal amplitude enter in the 2nd stage, generating higher amount of harmonics in the 2nd stage.
S4, S5 and S6: Second clipping stage
S4 OFF, S5 OFF, S6 OFF: diodes bypassed. Most transparent and less compressed sound.
S4 ON, S5 OFF, S6 OFF: one pair of led diodes. More transparent and less compressed sound.
S4 OFF, S5 ON, S6 OFF: two pairs of silicon diodes. More compressed sound.
S4 OFF, S5 OFF, S6 ON: one pair of silicon diodes. Most compressed sound. Original setting.
S2 and S3: Tone control
S2 ON, S3 ON: tone at 50%: mids flatter. Tilt center at 700Hz. Tone at min: darker. Tone at max: brighter.

S2 ON, S3 OFF: Deep mid-scoop at 1kHz. Original Muff tone setting.

S2 OFF, S3 ON: tone at 50%: mids with a slight hump. Tilt center at 1kHz (centered like original, but with mids preserved).

S2 OFF, S3 OFF: tone at 50%: mids flatter. Tilt center at 1.5kHz. Tone at min: heavier. Tone at max: sharper.
