Big Muff Fuzz SMD

Build a custom fuzz pedal with this PCB based on the classic Big Muff circuit. It features a footprint for six DIP switches, giving you control over clipping and tone. Final assembly simply requires mounting the potentiometers and switches.

Drilling template Step 4 of 4

Choose a 1590B enclosure, use the custom drilling service and the UV printing service. Open this drilling template or enter the coordinates from the following table into the online tool at drill.taydakits.com. The holes #1 to #5 are for the 1590B enclosure PCB. 

 

Adjust the diameter of hole #3 for the DC connector (9 mm works for most of the connectors).

Adjust the diameter of hole #5 for the LED as follows (for painted enclosures):

  • 3 mm LED: 3.2 mm
  • 3 mm LED metal holder: 6 mm
  • 5 mm LED: 5.2 mm
  • 5 mm transparent holder: 6.5 mm
